Purpose
The information presented in this one day course forms the basis for a systematic and integrated approach to Business Continuity management. It also enables participants to gain an understanding of the requirements of all the elements in BS 25999-2:2007 / AS 5050:2010.
The course examines the benefits of implementing an Business Continuity Management System and the compatibility of  Business Continuity and quality management systems.
The program explains the significant features of a BCMS and the terminology and methodology used in the BS 25999-2:2007 / AS 5050:2010.

Who should attend?
This course is designed for participants with knowledge or understanding of  BS 25999-2:2007 / AS 5050:2010.  It is suitable for
• Auditors and Lead Auditors who are required to conduct internal/external BCMS audits.
• people who are responsible for conducting any Business Continuity audit.

What will be achieved?
Upon successful completion of this course participants should be able to:
• Understand business continuity principles, codes of practices, and standards;
• Understand Business Continuity Management standards;
• Identify situations within their own organisations that are non-compliant with the Business Continuity Management standards;
• Identify processes within their own organisations that must be controlled or improved.
