Pathway to Flexible Training

Flexible modular training offered by ISC is as follows:

Module 1 (1 day or 2 days)
There are a number of Module 1 programs each covering the understanding of a specific aspect or ‘focus’ of a formally documented management system. Typically each module is a one/two day(s) workshop covering a specific standard:

RABQSA-QM, Quality Management Systems-ISO 9001:2008 (1 Day)
RABQSA-EM, Environmental Management Systems-ISO 14001: 2004 IEMA Recognised (2 Days)
RABQSA-OH, Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems-AS4801 in Australia & NZ and OHSAS:18001 International (2 Days)
RABQSA-IS, Information Security Management Systems-ISO/IEC 27001:2005 (1 Day)
RABQSA-IT, Information Technology Service Management Systems-ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005 (1 Day)
RABQSA-BC, Business Continuity Management System-BS 25999-2:2007 (1 Day)
RABQSA-FS, Food Safety Management Systems ISO 22000: 2005 (2 Days) (Applicant with RABQSA)
RABQSA-PC Professional Trainer (Applicant with RABQSA)

Module No 2 (2 Days)
RABQSA-AU, a two days workshop on the understandings and application of auditing techniques and principles as defined by the International Auditing Standard. ISO 19011 : 2003 Guidelines for ALL management systems including; Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety, Food Safety, Product Certification, Information Security, Disability Services etc.
It involves audit planning, evaluation and analysis of audit findings from case studies, preparation of audit findings and audit report, and techniques of conducting closing meeting with the audit client.

Module No 3 (1 Day)
RABQSA –TL, a one day workshop on the fundamentals and principles of managing the audit programme and leading an audit team. Establish, plan and task the activities of an audit team, organise and direct audit team members, prevent and resolve conflict with the auditee and /or within audit team and prepare and complete an audit report.

A candidate who successfully obtains the necessary levels of competency in any of the Module 1 (QM, OH, EM, IS, IT or BC), Module 2(RABQSA-AU), Module 3 (RABQSA-TL) will be awarded ISC ‘Certificate of Attainment’ for each individual module. 

If the candidates complete any of the Module 1 and Module 2 (AU), it also qualifies them to  register with RABQSA as  ‘Provisional Auditor’.

For becoming an auditor qualified to lead the audit teams for conducting external audits, participant would also need to successfully complete module 3 (RABQSA-TL), too. This certificate provides the basis for becoming an auditor qualified to lead the audit teams for conducting external audits.

Graduates seeking a certification grade beyond ‘Provisional’ must apply directly to RABQSA, and demonstrate the additional skills, personal attributes and qualifications required for the grade they seek. Refer to RABQSA website www.rabqsa.com for further details.
